FREE Law Firm Website Designs

LawFirm911™ just started and will continue to add great new free and premium designs. You can get started now with one of our existing designs and if you see anything in the future you like, you can change the look of your website with just two clicks.

First, create your website by registering on the homepage; then, choose a free design such as “Cutline” (if you wish to use a premium design, please contact me first otherwise it will not work properly). To select a free design, login to your control panel and click on the Design tab on the top left; click on one of the two free designs; click on “Activate”; and that’s it.

Custom header images are not necessary, but can be used instead of the stock image with the free image #1 below and all premium website designs. If you choose to use the stock image header, it will show a title and can also show a subtitle which you type into the appropriate fields in your control panel. You can see what the stock header image looks like in #1 In the blue premium design below. You can find a graphic designer to create a custom website header at the bottom of this page.

Changing the Headline Text in Your Website Header

This article will show you how to change the text and color of the title and subtitle in the header of your law firm website or how to hide the text of the title and subtitle if you will be using a custom website header, so it does not interfere with your header design.

Changing the header title and subtitle text on premium and free designs:
1 Log in to your control panel
2 Click on the "Settings tab"
3 Change the text in the "Blog Title" and "Tagline" fields.

Changing the color or hiding the text in the header on a premium LawFirm911™ website design:
1 Click on the "Design" tab
2 Click on the "Custom Image Header" tab
3 Ignore
4 Ignore
5a Click on "Select a Text Color " to change the color of the title text or
5b Click on the "Hide Text " button just above the "Select a Text Color"button, if the title text interferes with your header image.
6 Click on "Save Changes"

Customizing or Changing Your Header Image

Custom header images can be used with all premium law firm website designs and the free "Mimbo" design. If you want a custom law firm web site header image designed, first take a look at the designs here to see if you want to use one of these. If you have decided to use one of these designs, and you want a custom website header image, you must make one for the size indicated under the design.

If you already have a law firm website with a header image you want to use here or if you want to have a custom header image designed for you, you can easily change your own header image in place of the stock header image on your new LawFirm911™ website.

If you use your own header image, you may want to hide the title text which will be explained below. If you want to use the stock header image, but want to change the color of the title , that’s also easy. Find out how to change the words in the text of the header title and subtitle .

You can easily change the header image on a premium LawFirm911™ website design
1 Click on the "Design" tab
2 Click on the "Custom Image Header" tab
3 Click on "Browse" to choose an image on your computer
4 Click on the "Upload" button to upload your own image
5 Click on "Select a Text Color" to change the color of the title text or if the title text interferes with your header image, click on the "Hide Text" button just above the "Select a Text Color"button
6 Click on "Save Changes"

How to create a Sitemap page

When you click on Sitemap at the bottom of your website page, it opens up the error page which says: This is a 404 page.

This is because the Sitemap page has not yet been created. You can easily create the Sitemap page in 30 seconds.

To create the site map page:

1. Go to the wp admin (Dashboard)

2. Go to Write >> Write Page (not a Post).

3. Type in the title, any title such as “Sitemap” (without the quotes).

4. Find the “Page Template” panel below the area where you would normally write the content for the page and choose sitemap.

4. At the Comments & Pings panel, uncheck both Allow comments and Allow Pings.

5. Click publish and you’re done.

Adding an audio podcast to your website/blog.

First, an answer to the question, what is a podcast? A podcast is a digital-media file, distributed over the Internet using syndication feeds for playback on portable media players and computers. A podcast has the ability to be syndicated, subscribed to, and downloaded automatically when new content is added, using an aggregator or feed reader script capable of reading feed formats such as RSS or Atom. Such scripts allow podcasts to be automatically transferred to a mobile device after they are downloaded. The term is a blend of the words “iPod” (the portable media player) and “broadcast”.

Is there a fee for adding podcasts to my website? No. You have the ability to provide podcasts through the service of both LawFirm911™ and Odiogo. LawFirm911™ is providing the service to you for free and Odiogo is now providing the service for free without ads and sometime in the future will have a short ad in the podcast. Ad free podcasts will be available for a small monthly fee.

Note: Following the instructions below will add a syndicated podcast as well as a “Listen Button” to every article on your website, allowing website visitors to choose if they want to listen to your content (click on the “Listen Now” button at the top of this page to see how it works).

Instructions to activate podcasts on your website/blog:
1. First, Sign-up free at Odiogo.
2. Login to the admin account of your website at
3. Click menu “Plugins” and click “Activate” for Odiogo Listen Button
4. Click Settings > Odiogo Listen Button
5. Enter your Odiogo Feed ID specified in your Odiogo Activation Email and click Save
6. Click Design > Widgets and click Add for Odiogo Subscribe Button
7. Click Save Changes

Submit your podcasts to podcast directories, such as Apple’s podcast directory, Podcast Alley and Podcast.com for even more exposure.
